Mary Kay Timewise Night Solution

Update October 2010

The Mary Kay Night Solution is a product that I used to use for a number of years. I used many of the Mary Kay products for over 10 years. I no longer use this product, but I thought I would leave this article live for anyone who had questions.

In fact, I now use DOVE facial bar, Nubian Heritage, Lush products and Yardley soap, which not only work out cheaper, but keep my face soft and smooth without the added unnecessary expense. I can also buy those in shops, an added BONUS!!!

Oh and the Day solution which accompanies this product messed up my face, causing it to be discoloured and ashy looking.....I think it contains some chemicals that do not agree with me!

I no longer use any Mary Kay products, but kept these and other related posts up in case it is useful or helpful for people who still use their products....

For Youthful Features and Cellular Renewal

For all skin types - Oil free

While you sleep, Night Solution helps to replenish and rejuvenate your skin with a fresh supply of vitamins C and E, a patented alpha and beta hydroxy acid formula and botanical extracts which firm and tone the skin. the presence of vitamin C in the Night solution helps to brighten the complexion, while vitamin E helps to repair the skin.

As we age, the collagen fibres in our skin shrink, making the skin sag and wrinkle. The botanicals in the Night Solution plump up the collagen fibres in the skin, making the skin firmer, and plumper, like a water soaked sponge!

Around the clock, Retinyl Palmitate (a Vitamin A derivative) helps to boost the skin's ability to produce collagen for firmer, younger looking skin. This retinoid complex speeds up the cellular renewal, which means it will slough off the dead skin cells at night, while you sleep, so that each morning, you will wake up with the appearance of fresh, younger looking skin! In the morning, your skin will be uplifted. Over time, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles will be reduced.
  • Clinically Tested for Skin Irritancy and Allergy
  • Non-Comedogenic - Will not block your pores
Works in conjunction with the Mary Kay Timewise Moisturiser to keep the skin looking smooth, fresh and younger, defending the skin against Free Radical damage. the Mary Kay Timewise Night Solution comes in a 30ml / 1 Fl oz. clear bottle with a pump action dispenser as pictured.

How do you use the Mary Kay Timewise Night Solution?

This product has to be used after cleansing and toning of the skin, it should be used at night only, under your moisturiser and is suitable for all skin types, it is not a moisturiser, but more of a skin supplement product. There is no need to wash it off the skin until the morning skincare routine. It is suitable for all skin types.

Comments received on the blog about this product:

So basically antioxidant protection then! I was always told you only need to moisturise to protect your elastin fibres and stop wrinkles.

Goodness knows why they told me this...

Im male!

Response

Although you need to moisturise to keep the skin soft and supple, you also need to protect it from toxins in the environment and also from sun damage. I only started to take interest in all the skincare stuff when I developed acne as a teenager. It's all gone now though.
